About

The ICARS whistleblowing system provides a channel for reporting on:

  • Bribery, fraud and corruption
  • Data protection and IT security breaches
  • Unethical research and/ or research misconduct
  • Food and feed safety, animal health and animal welfare
  • (Sexual) abuse, exploitation and harassment
  • Health, safety and environment
  • Other issues covered by the ICARS whistleblowing policy

The reporting system can be used by ICARS current and former staff and consultants, ICARS partners, and everybody else who observes in good faith an issue that might be covered under the ICARS whistleblowing policy.

However, ICARS staff can of course – and is encouraged to – report any concern about misconduct via email or verbally to senior staff or the Safeguarding Officer directly (or the Data Protection Officer depending on the issue), or, if the issue relates to the Executive Management, directly to the Board of Directors. And ICARS partners can report any concern to the designated person in the partnership agreement or the ICARS whistleblowing policy safeguarding officers (ethics@icars-global.org).

The whistleblower’s identity will be kept strictly confidential to the extent permitted by law.

All text boxes and drop-down-menus marked with a star (*) are mandatory. Please provide concrete information that could inform an investigation, rather than general accusations.
